In the summer of 1999, as a simple creative release, Hutchinson and a close friend embarked on the creation of a new series for the STAR TREK® franchise entitled:

STAR TREK®: VICTORY FLEET

Though this was done purely as a Friday night amusement, it was eventually pitched to Paramount® in 2003, who strongly considered the project, but did not use it.

This new series idea introduces an entire new crew and blends together the designs and imagery of the current series with a bold new era of megaships and alternate methods of propulsion in a war with the dreaded Borg.

The following pages include early concept sketches and finished designs for the series by Jim Hutchinson.
